Dry Blast Cleaning method

The impigement of a high kinetic energy stream of abrasive by compressed air means, onto the surface to be prepared.

It is hand operated by jet and is the most thorough method of derusting.

The abrasive more used is the copper slag, but could be used eventually the Garnet or Steel Grit.

Advantages:

• Complete removal of all coatings and rust;
• It confers an anchor profile that permits an adequate adhesion with the primer coating.
